Sara is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist who graduated from Idaho State University with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She attended Northwest Nazarene University for her undergraduate studies, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Learning Specialities. She has extensive experience in working with pediatric populations in a variety of settings including pediatric out-patient clinics, home based supports through the infant-toddler program, and public and charter schools. Sara has practiced in Idaho, most recently within school districts including elementary and early childhood programs. Sara’s experience extends to working with children in all areas of speech-language pathology, including receptive/expressive and pragmatic language development, articulation/phonology, fluency, and voice. She has cultivated a specific professional focus in early childhood speech and language development. Sara holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and Idaho State Occupational Licensure. She also maintains certification through the Idaho State Board of Education, including endorsements for both Elementary Education and Speech-Language Pathology. Sara loves reading and spending time with her husband Luke, and three girls, Adeline, Emilia, and Lucia.
Jessie graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Science Disorders from Idaho State University in 2013, and went on to receive her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology in 2018. Jessie has been a member of Little Leaf Therapy Company since its beginning. Her previous experience was in a school-based setting across varying ages from early childhood to middle school. She particularly enjoys working on play and language skills with preschoolers, running language groups, and improving phonological awareness and language comprehension. Jessie currently holds a Clinical Certificate of Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In her free time, Jessie loves to spend time with her young family, getting together with friends and spending time with her two horses and dog, Cesar, Laine and Harley.
